I'm going to share part of a presentation I made that might be useful now that we have the time to do something about that clutter around the house.
I hope you like it.
I hope you like it.
Putting your home in order affects all other aspects of life because it changes you lifestyle.
Focus on the small things not on the whole project when you start.
Focus on the small things not on the whole project when you start.
Weed out the junk and get down to the things you TRULY love.
Simplify doesn’t mean Empty. It means to leave space in your life for what really works for you.
Changing “wants” for ¨needs¨ eliminates clutter.
When the objects we own work for us instead of the other way around, suddenly
home becomes a haven.
Have a clear idea of your destination before you start decluttering.
Your destination is the lifestyle that you want for yourself.
Do not buy new organising stuff, use what you already have. Be creative.
Start with clothes, move to books and papers; When that is done, face the miscellany and finally go through the mementos.
Set yourself a dead line, plan when you want to finish the project.
And remember, there is not failure, celebrate every-little-success.
